Y’all so 2018 we’re about to have new very detailed emojis! You guys don’t even wanna know how many Apple is planning to add–oh lord. 67! 67 new emojis are about to be updated into Apple users phones in the next year! This is kind of insane; emojis has taken over so much, they’ve even got a whole movie about it which surprisingly made 25 million dollars in its opening weekend.

These upcoming emojis actually seem to have had some major thought put into it; like the one that pertains to an actual party vibe with the party hat on top of its head! How rad.

Below are the 67 emojis they plan to add, although they’re not finalized, it’s definitely something to look forward too!

Co-creator and co-founder of Google Maps, Lars Rasmussen and Elomida Visviki have recently launched a new music app Weav Music and fitness app Weav Run built on the progression of adaptive music.

Lars and Elomida have made technological advancements that will pair music to match your speed and steps while running. This goes further than the classic algorithm and genius technology because each song changes pace as you do, matching cadences and steps. Each song then acts as a motivational tool to push you forward and make runners reach new heights and increase their abilities. The songs will continuously change tempos to real-time making sure you are always on beat.

Weav Music has made partnerships with Sony Music, Warner Music, and many of their affiliated labels. Universal Music Group has given them permission to “experiment” with songs from their catalog to have a large and diverse choice of tracks for the listeners using Weav Run.

The creators say this is just the beginning of hyper music adaptation, and will soon become a part of video games, virtual reality, meditation, and dance apps. Having the ability to go from 60 to 240 bpm will give musicians more room to blend genres and sounds into each individual track, which could and will probably make a new genre of recorded music.

For those that love to run and jam, make sure to be apart of the high intelligent and groundbreaking app Weav Run, which is now available and can be downloaded for immediate use.

-Cool! Thanks Highnobiety for the update!

Yes, we’re still in the depths of another record-hot Miami summer, but it’s never too early to think about fall, especially when it comes to Halloween. Even if you haven’t even begun to consider a costume idea or weighed your party options, the folks at Diskolabare here to give you something to do the weekend ahead of All Saints’ Day: It’s Wynwood Fear Factory, y’all.

Following up on last year’s frightful fest, the event will return to the RC Cola Plant (550 NW 24th St., Miami) October 28 and 29. Expanding on last year’s lineup of EDM heavy-hitters, this year’s edition will offer the likes of DJ Snake, Wiz Khalifa, and Porter Robinson at the top of the bill. Other performers include Big Gigantic, Steve Angello, and Martin Solveig.

Of course, there’ll be much more to do than dance. The organizers promise a full festival experience, with art installations, food from local vendors, and other entertainment. If it doesn’t sound terrifying enough, there will also be scare zones and other haunted attractions that will have you shaking in your boots and bikinis.

Presale tickets are already sold out, but a second tier of GA and VIP tickets will go on sale Tuesday, August 8, at noon via the Wynwood Fear Factory website. General admission is 18 and over, while VIP tickets, which include access to bars and a viewing deck, are 21 and over.

Ugly-God-827x620

Ugly God commanded the attention of the Hip Hop world with his infectious anthem “Water,” which peaked at #80 on the Billboard Hot 100. The humorous rapper looks to follow it up and prove he’s no one-hit wonder by releasing his long awaited debut, The Booty Tape.

The road to the project’s release has been a bumpy one with Ugly God originally planning for the tape to drop in June. That obviously never happened as the buzzing artist’s plans were met with resistance. In the end, he had to scrap guest appearances by Lil Yachty, Ski Mask The Slump God and XXXTENTACION for The Booty Tape to see the light of day.

While losing those big names hurts, Wiz Khalifa’s contribution as the lone guest provides the record with star power. Production is mostly handled by Ugly God, although he enlists some outside help for three of the project’s 10 tracks.

Check out the stream, cover art and tracklist for Ugly God’s The Booty Tape in the link below.

The Booty Tape

(The original version of this article was published on July 31, 2017 and can found below.)

Ugly God surprised fans Monday morning (July 31) by unveiling an updated tracklist for his forthcoming debut, The Booty Tape, along with the single “No Lies” featuring Wiz Khalifa.

Though Khalifa appears to be the sole feature on The Booty Tape, a previous tracklist included guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Ski Mask The Slump God and XXXTENTACION.

This year has been good to the Houston rapper. Aside from being named one of this year’s XXL Freshman, his breakout single “Water” led to a deal with Asylum Records. During an interview with HipHopDX’s Shirley Ju, Ugly God talked about his eccentric approach to music.

“I’m a pop/country artist coming up underground,” he said. “Everything’s organic. Make music from my house. Just trying to do this as a regular guy … and stuff. It just works. Everything just works.”

Akon-So-Blue

American-Senegalese singer Akon was speaking at the Youth Connekt Africa Summit, fighting the stereotypes of how the world perceives Africa. He stated that when the world thinks of Africa, they think zebras, lions, tigers, and bears; leading them to fully be under the impression that Africa is a jungle. Crazy right? It’s absolutely incorrect, and ignorant! Akon further more informs the youth that they should really redefine how people think about Africa by telling their own stories.

“What you choose to put out there, is what the world is gonna get” quoted by Akon. Akon wants African countries to work on their image just like the United States, “the land of the free”. He also mentioned the U.S as the number one branders in the universe, and how they make it seem like it’s the best place on earth to be; implying that if they can do that, then why can’t Africa! Akon seems to have really become a great figured-mentor and motivation for the people of Africa. He has been involved in several development projects across the continent of Africa, from supplying electricity, to training young individuals to become self-sufficient.

“One thing I’ve realized about Africa is that only the organizations that involve Africans themselves are successful.”

Here’s the video clip of Akon speaking out at the Africa Summit from @ajplus Via Twitter:

Serious mad respect for Akon for speaking out, educating, and empowering the Youth Connekt Africa Summit. Keep shining, keep spreading positivity, keep an open mind, and let there be peace, as what you give out to the world is what you will receive back and more!
